Kipgen Konthoujam Appellant Vs. Takhelmayum Nongthanganbi Chanu Respondent
BEFORE HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. KEMPAIAH SOMASHEKAR HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AHANTHEM BIMOL SINGH (ORDER)
(K. SOMASHEKAR, C.J.)
21.07.2025 The present matrimonial appeal has been preferred by the appellant as under Section 19 (1) of the Family Courts Act, 1984 read with Section 14 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 for setting aside the impugned order dated 6th August 2024, passed by the learned Family Court, Manipur, in Judl. Misc. Case No. 51 of 2024 [Ref: Mat. (Divorce) Suit No. 36 of 2024]. Learned senior counsel for the appellant, Mr. Khaidem Mani and learned counsel for the respondent, Mr. L. Seityandra are present before the Court physically. Whereas, learned senior counsel for the appellant in this matter fairly submits that the appellant does not incline to persuade this appeal and seeks leave to withdraw the same. Therefore, keeping in view the submission made by the learned senior counsel for the appellant in this matter, it is deemed appropriate that the present appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. Accordingly, the present matrimonial appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.
