Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare for the respondents. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner sought for financial assistance for educational purpose at abroad under ‘NTR Videshi Vidyadharana’ in phase I for the year 2018-2019 and though the petitioner’s name is shown in the provisional approval list, funds are not yet released. 4. The respondent No.3 filed a counter-affidavit wherein it is clearly stated that they conducted enquiry through Vigilance and Enforcement Department to determine the authenticity of the students, and upon enquiry, they found that the petitioner vide application No.OV2018119979, is eligible for the payment of Rs.10.00 lakhs under ‘NTR Videshi Vidyadharana Scheme’. He further stated that the Government released quarterly budget under the Scheme and he undertakes that he would process and release the payment to the petitioner. 5. A perusal of the material on record reveals that the petitioner is eligible for payment of Rs. 10.00 lakhs under ‘NTR Videshi Vidyadharana’. Despite there being no dispute with regard to the petitioner’s eligibility or the sanction of the said amount, till today, 3 funds are not being released by respondents. It is the grievance of petitioner that on the assurance of 3rd respondent to disburse the funds within no time, he departed to pursue education abroad. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstance, the respondents are directed to release the funds in favour of the petitioner to a tune of Rs.10.00 lakhs under ‘Videshi Vidyadharana’ Scheme’, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two (02) months, from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is allowed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed. _____________________________ JUSTICE K.
