Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned State Counsel for the opposite party Nos. 1 to 3 and Mr. Utsav Misra, learned counsel for opposite party No.4. 2. Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to authority concerned to issue appointment letter to the petitioner on the post of Junior Assistant in pursuance of advertisement No.08- Exam/2022 and to permit him to join and to discharge duties with all consequential benefits. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that in pursuance of the aforesaid advertisement, he had applied and was selected by means of select list dated 25.08.2025 but appointment letter has not been issued presumably on the ground of a criminal case pending against him. 4. Learned State Counsel has been provided written instructions and submits that petitioner has not been issued appointment letter in terms of his selection on the ground of criminal case pending against him. He however does not have any instructions as to whether petitioner's candidate itself has been cancelled as on date or not. 5. In view of the aforesaid. liberty is granted to petitioner to file Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Atul Kumar Dubey Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C., Utsav Mishra Shivraj Kumar Yadav .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. Petitioner shall annexe a copy of the representation dated 18.09.2025 alongwith a certified copy of this order. 6. With aforesaid direction(s), the petition is finally disposed of.
