1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is questioning the enquiry proceeding initiated against him by the respondents to inquire about his social status on the basis of pseudonymous complaint made without any afÏdavit, whereas no enquiry proceeding can be initiated on the basis of such complaint made against an employee. The petitioner has submitted representation to the respondents vide 07.10.2024, however the same has not been decided till date, though the petitioner has raised a question to the proceeding as the same is being initiated on the basis of a complaint made by unknown person without any afÏdavit. 2. At the very outset, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instruction, would submit that this present petition may be disposed
3 of reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner to pursue his pending representation dated 07.10.2024 before the respondent authorities and the said authority may be directed to consider and decide the same within a stipulated period. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the State submit that if the petitioner’s representation is pending consideration, the same would be considered and decided in accordance with law within a stipulated period. 4. I have heard learned counsels for the parties and perused the document. 5.
Considering the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner to pursue his pending representation dated 07.10.2024 before the respondent authorities and in such eventuality the respondent authority are directed to consider and decide the same in accordance with law on its own merits by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. 6. The petitioner is at liberty to apprise the respondent authorities about the order of this Court. 7. The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. Sd/-
