Proceedings of this matter have been taken through video conferencing. 2. This is an ofÏce reference. 3. This Court, vide order dated 21.12.2023, passed in MCRC No. 6254 of 2023, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Vikas Das Mahant, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 4. Earlier on three occasions also this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 21.12.2023. 5. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raigarh, District- Raigarh , (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 17.03.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 6. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in this case, statements of 06 prosecution witnesses have been recorded and the statements of 08 prosecution witnesses are yet to be recorded and the time prescribed by this Court is going to be expired, therefore he prays for grant of some more time for concluding the same. 7. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of five months from today. 8. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 9.
