Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Ghaghra P.S. Case No. 52 of 2024 (S.T. Case No.112 of 2025) for the offences registered under sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Gumla. On 22.06.2024, daughter of the Informant was murdered in the field of co-accused Bandhu Oraon by her husband and other co-accused persons. It was submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against all the accused persons. It was further submitted that co-accused Bandhu Oraon @ Bandhu Bhagat has been granted bail by this Court earlier and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Gumla, in connection with Ghaghra P.S.
