Heard Shri Dinesh Kumar Ojha, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Shri Amarjeet Singh Rakhra, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent nos.1, 3 & 4 and learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent nos.2 and 5. 2. This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents in deciding the representation dated 01.06.2025 (Annexure-5 to the writ petition) filed by the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that raising his grievances the petitioner has filed the aforesaid representation before the respondent authority, however the same has not yet been decided. 4. Upon due consideration, we are of the view that the respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Pratapgarh should be directed to pass a reasoned order upon the representation of the petitioner. 5. Accordingly, the respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Pratapgarh is directed to pass a reasoned order upon the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law, keeping in view the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 and the Works of Licensees Rules, 2006 within a period of eight weeks from date after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
