ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/A4 to A7 seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.593 of 2020, dated 16.07.2020 of Arundalpet Police Station, Guntur Urban registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420 and 406 r/w 34 of IPC.
2. During hearing, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has furnished a copy of the charge sheet dated 30.09.2020, which was filed in the Court of the file of V Additional Judicial Junior Civil Judge, Guntur, after due investigation. However, the charge sheet is still awaiting for numbering. In view of this, since the investigation has already been completed, instead of keeping this criminal petition pending, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present criminal petition.
3. Accordingly, the criminal petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent-State to ensure that the charge sheet is numbered as expeditiously as possible, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. However, the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if at all they are aggrieved with.
