This interlocutory application is preferred by the applicants for substitution of the Page No.# 3/3 contemnor No.1 in the Cont.Cas(C) No.370/2022. Ms. Payeng, learned counsel for the applicants submits that the contemnor No.1 Dr. Bijoya Choudhury has been replaced by the present incumbent, namely, Shri Narayan Konwar, Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Department of School Education and in place of Dr. Bijoya Choudhury, the present incumbent Shri Narayan Konwar is required to be impleaded as contemnor No.1 in the aforesaid contempt case. Taking note of the submission of Ms. Payeng, learned counsel for the applicants and also considering the facts and circumstances on the record, the prayer stands allowed. Shri Narayan Konwar, Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, School Education Department be impleaded as contemnor No.1 in the Cont.Cas(C) No.370/2022.
