This Court passed the following order on 10.12.2024: "Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned A.G.A. for State. This petition seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the First Information Report dated 13.11.2024 bearing FIR/Case Crime No.1044 of 2024 for the offence under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506, 307 & 494 IPC and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station-Kotwali, District- Barabanki. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the impugned F.I.R. is an outcome of matrimonial dispute and this dispute may be settled amicably through Mediation & Conciliation Centre, therefore, the matter may be referred to the Mediation & Conciliation Centre of this Court. Learned counsel for petitioners has further submitted that to show the bona fide, petitioner no.1-husband ready and willing to place the demand draft of Rs.40,000/- in favour of respondent no.3-wife before this Court on the next date. Put up this case on 18.12.2024. By the said date demand draft of Rs.40,000/- in favour of wife-respondent no.3 shall be placed before this Court." 4. Learned AGA on the basis of instructions dated 10.11.2025 received from Sri Sanjiv Prakash Singh, SI, Kotwali Nagar, District Barabanki, a copy of which has been produced before this Court and taken on record, submits that Charge Sheet No. 820/2024 dated 24.12.2024 has been Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Ashok Kumar Pathak, Ram Chandra Dwivedi Counsel for Respondent(s) : G.A. Devi Sharan Prajapati @ Lucky And 2 Others .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. Thru. Secy. Deptt. Of Home Lko. And 2 Others .....Respondent(s) forwarded against petitioner no. 1 and filed in the court of CJM, Barabanki (Court No. 18), in which the next date fixed is 18.12.2025. He has further submitted that names of all other accused have been dropped, therefore, this petition has rendered infructuous. 5. Dismissed accordingly.
