The present writ petition has been preferred with the prayer to direct the Commissioner, Basti Mandal, Basti to decide the case no. 130 of 2025 (Surendra Yadav Vs. Additional District Magistrate (Judicial), Sant Kabir Nagar and another) under section 6 of the U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970 filed on 20.1.2025 arising out of order dated 9.12.2024 passed by Additional District Magistrate (Judicial), Sant Kabir Nagar in case no. 162 of 2022 under section 3/4 of U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970, expeditiously. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his stay application is pending in appeal no. 130 of 2025 pending before the respondent no.2, Commissioner, Basti Mandal, Basti preferred under section 6 of the U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970. The writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2, Commissioner, Basti Mandal, Basti to decide the above noted appeal within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Till the appeal is decided by the respondent no.2, Commissioner, Basti Mandal, Basti, the operation of the order dated 9.12.2024, passed by Additional District Magistrate (Judicial), Sant Kabir Nagar in case no. 162 of 2022 under section 3/4 of U.P.
