By way of this petition, petitioner seeks quashing of select list of the ReT teachers, published by respondent No. 2 in the newspaper on 29.03.2012, to the extent it pertains to the selection of respondent No. 5, shown at serial No. 43, for Government Primary School, Gunga (Gunja) in Village and Panchayat Chassote of Education Zone Chassana, Tehsil Mohore, District Reasi. 2. This Court while issuing notice on 09.04.2012, has directed the respondents to consider the objections of the petitioner before proceeding ahead. 3. The respondents have filed their objections, in which, it is submitted that as per the criteria laid down in SRO 288 of Edu of 209 dated 08.04.2009, the selection for the post was made on habitation basis. It is also submitted that two of the candidates figuring at Serial No. 6 and 15 of the selection list have not joined, and the petitioner’s name falling under the consideration on village level has been recommended SWP No. 775/2012 for the post of ReT teacher at Government Primary School Shamo Bagodass. 4. In view of the aforesaid, the petitioner’s grievance stands redressed. Since nothing survives for adjudication in this petition, therefore, the same is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
