1. Heard Mr. M.K. Das, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. D.P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
2. This application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 has been
Page No.# 3/4 filed by the petitioners, namely, 1. Amzad Ali Khan 2. Toibor Ali and 3. Ijabul Hoque has prayed for pre-arrest bail in connection with Kokrajhar P.S Case No. 182/2025 registered under Sections 61(2)/140(3)/117(2)/74/76/ 308(2) of BNS,
2023.
3. Having regard to the material available in the case diary and the nature of the allegations, custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not necessary.
4. Accordingly, the above-named petitioners are allowed to go on bail of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) only each with two sureties each of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the Court of learned CJM, Kokrajhar with following conditions: (i) That the petitioners shall cooperate with the investigation and appear before the I.O as and when called for; (ii) That the petitioners shall not hamper the investigation or tamper with the evidence. (iii) That the petitioners shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person who may be acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade such person from disclosing such facts of the case before the Investigating Officer;
