Petitioner retired while serving as Officiating Principal in Government Aided Intermediate College at Bazpur, District Udham Singh Nagar. 4. According to him, he served as Officiating Principal in the said institution between 01.07.2007 to 31.10.2010, however, he was not paid any remuneration for discharging duties of higher post and he was only paid salary admissible for the post of Lecturer, Government Intermediate College. 5. This, according to the petitioner is unjust since after discharging additional duties of higher position, petitioner was entitled for remuneration. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner has referred to a full Bench judgment of this Court rendered in WPSB No.55 of 2011 titled as Kanti Prasad Dadpuri & three others Vs. State of Uttarakhand & others. 7. Learned State counsel submits that since petitioner has made a representation to District Education Officer, Udham Singh Nagar (respondent no.3), therefore, decision on the said representation shall be taken expeditiously. 8. We, accordingly dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent no.3 – District Education Officer, Udham Singh Nagar, to take decision on representation dated 13.07.2016, moved by the petitioner, within a period of four months, from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
