The instant petition has been preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India whereby the petitioner seeks following reliefs: a. Writ in the nature of Certiorari seeking setting aside of the order no. 110 of 2024 dated 08.11.2024 passed by the respondent no. 3 as the same is bad in law not sustainable in the eyes of law; b. Writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents no. 2 to 4 to pay an amount of Rs. 18,18,170.00 along with interest @ 18% w.e.f. June 2017; c. Writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent to pay damages and compensation to the tune of Rs. 2,00,000/-. 2. Ms. Sharma, learned counsel appearing vice Mr. Sachin Gupta on behalf of the petitioner after arguing for a while submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if the instant petition is disposed of at 2 WP (C) No. 204/2025 this stage by directing the respondents to treat this writ petition as representation and accord consideration of the same within some reasonable period of time. 3. Ms. Gupta, Assisting counsel appearing vice Mrs. Monika Kohli, learned Sr. AAG on behalf of the respondents has no objection to the prayer made by learned counsel for the opposite side. 4. In light of the submissions made hereinabove and with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the instant petition is taken up for disposal without issuing any formal notice to the respondents. Prayer made hereinabove is allowed and accordingly, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to treat the instant petition filed by the petitioner as representation and accord consideration to the claims of the petitioner, strictly under rules and as per the provisions of law, within a period of six weeks from the date, copy of this order is served upon Respondent No. 4/Executive Engineer, Irrigation Division-II, Jammu along with the copy of this writ petition and annexure(s) as well, by the petitioner. 5. The instant petition is disposed of along with connected application(s), if any.
