Borthakur, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor for the State respondent. On the last occasion, the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor was directed to find out as to whether any case was lodged or registered against the petitioner, namely Meraj Wasiqur Rahman and in compliance of the said order, Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor has placed an instructions from the Inspector of Police, Kokrajar Police Station intimating him that he had search the available Police Station records and did not find any case against the petitioner at the said Police Station. Ms. T. Som, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has apprehension that one Kuldip Kumar has lodged an FIR against him but it is seen from the intimation given by the concerned Police Officer that no case is registered against the petitioner. As such, there cannot be any apprehension on the part of the petitioner of any arrest in absence of any FIR. Accordingly, the Anticipatory Bail Application stands closed and disposed of.
