(Oral) Mr. K.D.Sood, learned Senior Counsel representing respondent No. 3, on instructions, states that DPC for the appointment to the post of Head Pujari shall be positively conducted on or before 31.01.2025. Since the dispute in the instant case is only with regard to appointment to the post of Head Pujari, qua which petitioner being senior to private respondent is also staking his claim, this Court with a view to shorten the controversy deems it fit to dispose of the present petition with a direction to Commissioner-cum- Deputy Commissioner, Hamirpur, District Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, to ensure that DPC for the post in question is conducted on or before 31.01.2025. Ordered accordingly. Needless to say, said authority after doing the needful, would also take note of decision taken in the minutes of the meeting dated 22.05.1997 (Annexure R-2), wherein at serial No. 11, decision with regard to relaxation of qualification provided under the recruitment and promotion rules, was taken.
