The Court made the following: 2 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 10800/2019 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to direct the respondent organization to place the petitioners in the next Promotion Scale with Grade Pay as applicable w.e.f the date on which they became eligible under the CAS scheme 2013 which was in vogue till 31st March 2017 and accordingly fix their pay from the date of entitlement and to pay the arrears of salary and the interest for the delay as this Honble court may fix as just and necessary for the delay caused in conferring the said benefit with all consequential benefits including terminal benefits for the retired petitioners i.e., Settlement Salary Encashment and Revision of Pension accordingly by holding the action of the respondent organization in not doing so while extending the said benefit to all similarly placed persons and not answering the representations of the petitioners and keeping the matter in cold storage as bad, illegal, irrational, arbitrary, discriminatory and unconstitutional by issuance of Writ of Mandamus…” 2.
