The petitioners have filed this petition seeking the following relief(s):- “a) A writ and/or an order in the nature of appropriate writ kindly be issued to the respondent authority for considering the representations of the petitioners and grant adequate compensation and rehabilitate in proper alternative arrangements before entering the construction of the road in the facts and circumstances of the case. b. A writ and/or an order in the nature of appropriate writ kindly be issued to the respondent state authorities and direct that make a proper arrangement for bypassing the constructed road in Village Jhirouni so that the residential house of the petitioners situated in the mid of the village will protected in facts and circumstances of the case.” 3 2. Mr. Shadangi, the learned Panel Lawyer appearing for the State would submit that the petitioners have claimed compensation for the use of their Bhumiswami lands for the construction of a road from N.H.12 to Villages, Khairjhiti, Jinda, Badhoura, Jhirouni up to Village Kosmanda. He would further submit that the State in its reply admitted the fact that the petitioners were granted the lease of the land in question and a road has been constructed over it. He would contend that the claim of the petitioners would be considered strictly in accordance with the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Sadak Yojna. 3. Heard learned counsel appearing for the State and perused the documents placed on the record. 4. Taking into consideration the submissions made by Mr. Shadangi and averments made in para 8 of the reply, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents No. 3 & 4 to decide the claim of the petitioners expeditiously preferably within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the same is not decided yet. 5.
