Garhwal Central University constituted a Selection Committee for appointment to faculty position in D.B.S. Post Graduate College, Dehradun vide order dated 10.02.2014. 3. Petitioner challenged the said order in this writ petition, which was filed in 2015. He also challenged proceedings of the Selection Committee, which was constituted pursuant to the aforesaid order. Proceedings of the Selection Committee are on record as Annexure No.14, perusal thereof reveals that petitioner was interviewed by the Selection Committee and all the Members of the Selection Committee unanimously resolved that petitioner is not suitable for appointment for the post of Assistant Professor (Geography). 4. The Selection Committee was constituted by the Competent Authority, strictly as per Law. The decision taken by the Selection Committee cannot be challenged in a writ petition, as the evaluation made by Members of the 2025:UHC:1238-DB Selection Committee is subjective, which cannot be scrutinized by applying objective standards. 5.
