The petitioner is an accused in connection with Amrapara P.S. Case No. 15 of 2025. 3. It has been alleged that a meeting was held with respect to theft and a land dispute and the informant was brought from his house to the meeting place where he was kept hostage the whole night. On the next date, the accused persons had entered into the house of the informant and started beating him and they had also molested his wife. The informant was once again taken to the meeting place where a fine of Rs. 3,00,000/- was imposed upon him. 4. It has been alleged that the informant was beaten by several persons on refusal of the informant to pay the fine amount and as he was brought home Rs.50,000/- and 20 bhari of silver neckless were taken away and an attempt was also made to sexually exploit his wife. 5. Submission has been advanced by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature. 6. It has been submitted that one of the co-accused, namely, Dr. Nirmal Murmu @ Nirmal Murmu has been granted bail by this Court in B.A.No. 4175/25. The petitioner is in custody since 04.05.2025. 7. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 8. Regard being had to the generality of allegation levelled against the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Pakur in connection with Amrapara P.S.
