Case No. 22/2022, for the offences registered under Sections 498(A), 323, 379, 504 & 506 of the I.P.C. and Sections 3 & 4 of the D.P. Act, pending in the Court of Ms. Shardha Bhushan learned J.M., Ranchi. 3. The petitioner happens to be husband of the informant, who was driven away from her matrimonial home as demand of dowry was not fulfilled. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that that informant has not sustained any injury at the hands of the petitioner. It was further submitted that the informant has filed five cases of different nature against him. 5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant submitted that despite the order passed by the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Ranchi to pay maintenance to the informant but the petitioner did not comply with the said order. It was further submitted that during the pendency of this Anticipatory Bail, the petitioner had also assaulted the informant twice. 6. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected. However, the petitioner, if so advised, may surrender before the learned Court below within two weeks and the learned Court below shall dispose of his regular bail on the same day without being dismissal of his anticipatory bail.
