She was transferred from Devichaur, Ramnagar, Nainital to Chandpur Betalghat, Nainital vide order dated 12.07.2024. 3. Petitioner challenged the said transfer mainly on the ground that she is a senior employee thus exempted from compulsory transfer. Age of petitioner at the time of filing of the writ petition is mentioned as 55 years. 4. Learned State Counsel submits that if petitioner has any grievance regarding her transfer, then she could have approached the competent authority by making representation. 5. Perusal of the record reveals that coordinate Bench passed an interim order in favour of the petitioner pursuant to which petitioner is still continuing at her original place of posting. No useful purpose would be served by keeping this petition pending. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed 2025:UHC:11141 of with liberty to petitioner to make representation regarding her transfer to the competent authority. If she makes such representation within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within six weeks thereafter. 7. For a period of eight weeks or till decision is taken on the representation, whichever is earlier, status quo, qua petitioner’s posting shall be maintained. However, in case of failure on part of the petitioner to submit representation within stipulated time, then she will not be entitled any protection of this order.
