Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioners have, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “(i) That the notice dated 29.03.2025 contained in Annexure P-5 may kindly be quashed and set aside by issuing a writ of certiorari. (ii) That the respondents may kindly be directed to provide water connections to the petitioners in the sheds/huts as per tender document so that they may be able to pay the monthly rent on time. (iii) That the respondents may kindly be directed to decide the representations dated 29.01.2024 and 09.04.2025.” 2. Learned Additional Advocate General has handed over copy of Instructions received from Divisional Forest Officer, Ani Forest Division at Luhri, dated 17.07.2025, perusal whereof demonstrates that the petitioners are in default as they have not made the payments which are due from them to the respondents. 3. In this light of this fact, obviously, no direction as is being prayed for in the writ petition can be passed because the 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2025:HHC:25455 petitioners cannot be given premium of their own acts of omission. 4. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of with the direction that as soon as the petitioners make good the balance as is being demanded form them by the respondents, the basis amenities /water connection be restored forth, i.e. within 10 days as from the deposition of the amount as is payable from the petitioners to the Authority concerned.
