GP FOR REGISTRATION AND STAMPS (AP) 2 The Court made the following order: The present writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: “……to issue an appropriate Writ Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents 4 and 5 in not receiving and registering the documents presented by the petitioners pertaining to Plot Nos.84, 109 and 123 respectively in Fortune Hanuma venture in D.No.191/2, 191/3, 209, 210/1, 210/2, 211 and 220 of Chebrolu Village and Subdistrict in Guntur district through they are not attached under G.O.Ms.No.21, dt.29.02.2016 as illegal, arbitrary unconstitutional consequently direct the 4th and 5th Respondents to receive and register the documents presented by the petitioners pertaining to Plot Nos. 84, 109 and 123 respectively in Fortune Hanuma venture in D.No.191/2 ,191/3, 209, 210/1, 210/2, 211 and 220 of Chebrolu Village and Subdistrict in Guntur district and pass such other order…..” 2. The only grievance of the petitioners is that the 5th respondent refused to receive the documents presented by them for registration, though they are in order. 3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Revenue placed on record the written instructions dated 28.03.2025, furnished by the 5th respondent. On perusal of the same, the 5th respondent has categorically 3 stated that the petitioners did not present any documents as alleged and if the documents are presented for registration, the same would be processed as per law. 4. In view of the above, the 5th respondent is directed to receive the documents that may be presented by the petitioners in respect of the subject properties and register the same subject to the petitioners complying with the provisions of Registration Act, 1908 and Indian Stamp Act, 1899. It is made clear that, if for any reasons, the 5th respondent refuses to register the documents, the same shall be done as per Section 71 of the Act by recording the reasons for such refusal. 5. With the above directions, the present writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
