Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Dr. Krishna Singh, Deputy Advocate General for the State of Uttarakhand and Sri Brijendra Kumar Singh for the State. 2. The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby directing the opposite parties to release the GPF amount to the petitioner for the period when he was working at District Dehradun as well as Paudi i.e. 05.08.1998 to 03.04.2001, along with interest, in the interest of justice. (II) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby directing the opposite parties, more particularly opposite party no.2 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2025 regarding GPF amount for the period of 05.08.1998 to 03.04.2001, in the interest of justice. (contained as Annexure No. 8)" 3. Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that some part of the G.P.F. including the interest have not been paid yet and he has made representation to the Additional Chief Secretary of Government of U.P. on 25.07.2025, which is pending consideration. 4. Dr. Krishna Singh appearing for the State of Uttarakhand submitted that so far as the part of G.P.F. payable to the petitioner from State of Uttarakhand is concerned that has been paid and letter has also been Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Hari Om Singh Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C., Dr.Krishna Singh Sant Ram Ahirwar .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. Thru. Addl. Chief Secy. Deptt. Finance Lko. And 5 Others .....Respondent(s) written on 10.05.2024. 5. Be that as it may, the Additional Chief Secretary, Nagar Vikas, Government of U.P., Lucknow is directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2025, if so pending, in accordance with law within a period of four weeks. 6.
