JUSTICE SUSMITA PHUKAN KHAUND ORDER Date : 13-09-2025 Mr. Swapan Maji, Regional Manager is present for Insurer, United India Insurance Company Ltd. 2. The claimants Mrs. Dipa Sonar, Mrs. Sabitri Biswakarma and Sri Kamal Biswakarma are present. Mrs. Dipa Sonar was the wife of the deceased, who has remarried now. The other two claimants Sabitri Biswakarma and Kamal Biswakarma, are the parents of the deceased. 3. Both the parties have settled their dispute amicably. The Insurance Company has agreed to pay a total amount of Rs.23,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Three Lacs) in favour of the claimants. 4. It is agreed among the claimants that an amount of Rs.7,00,000/- (Rupees Seven Lacs) may be deposited in favour of Dipa Sonar, an amount of Rs.4,00,000/- (Rupees Four Lacs) may be deposited in favour of Kamal Page No.# 3/3 Biswakarma and the remaining amount of Rs.12,00,000/- (Rupees Twelve Lacs) may be deposited in favour of Sabitri Biswakarma. 5. As the claimants have come to an agreement relating to apportionment of the amount, the Insurer is directed to deposit the amount of Rs.23,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Three Lacs) before the MACT No. 1, Kamrup (M) and the Tribunal is directed to allow Smt. Dipa Sonar to withdraw Rs.7,00,000/- (Rupees Seven Lacs), Sabitri Biswakarma to withdraw Rs.12,00,000/- (Rupees Twelve Lacs) and Kamal Biswakarma to withdraw Rs.4,00,000/- (Rupees Four Lacs), after being properly verified by the Tribunal. 6. The amount may be deposited within a period of six weeks. 7. The Insurer is allowed to withdraw the statutory deposit of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) from the Registry of this Court. 8.
