Grievance of the petitioners is that despite there being an order dated 18.09.2023 passed by the Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue), Varanasi Division, Varanasi, possession has not been handed over to the auction purchaser. 2. Sri Ashish Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the respondent- bank informs that the bank has applied in pursuance of the order itself before the respondent no.2 to facilitate the handing over of the possession of the property in question to the bank so that it could be handed over to the auction purchaser. 3. From the communication dated 08.04.2024 annexed as annexure-4 to the writ petition, we gather that the bank has written to the Police Commissioner, Varanasi for the requisite help. 4. Under such circumstances, no further order is required to be passed. 5. We direct the District Magistrate before whom the representation has been filed by the bank to forward the representation to the police authorities so that proper help be given to the bank for taking over possession of the property in question.
