Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. This petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following main prayer:- "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Opposite Parties particularly Opposite Party Nos.2 and 3 to compensate petitioner for death of the deceased wife under the State disaster Response Fund i.e. Rs.4,00,000/- on account of the accidental death by snake bite, within stipulated period of time (Contained as Annexure No.1), in the interest of justice." 3. Upon perusal of the General Diary Details, which has been annexed at page 15A to the writ petition, we find that the cause of death of the petitioner's wife was due to snake bite. The same is further fortified by the panchnama report made by the police which indicates that the death of the petitioner's wife took place due to snake bite. 4. In light of the same, we direct the authority to allow the claim of the petitioner and ensure payment of compensation to the petitioner within a period of ten weeks from date. 5.
