This writ petition has been filed seeking release of gratuity and leave salary arrears of the deceased employee, who is stated to be the husband of the writ petitioner. It is noted that the amount had been sanctioned on 2nd April, 2025. 2. Mr. S. Deb, learned counsel for the respondents however has submitted that as the employee has since deceased, it is necessary that the petitioner if she is the legal heir as claimed, approach the District Council authorities with proper proof of succession. 3. On this submission, Mr. P.T. Sangma, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be allowed to withdraw the instant writ petition and to allow the writ petitioner to take necessary steps in this regard. 4.
