The prayer in this writ petition is to direct the Tahsildar to collect the TT amount and, thereafter, issue a certificate of grant or Saguvali Chit in favour of the petitioner in respect of land bearing Sy.No.183 measuring 2 acres situated at Nettekere Village, Gubbi Taluk, Tumakuru District, as recommended by the Committee on 20.02.1999 and, as request by the petitioner whose representation date 07.11.2024. 2. Learned counsel points out that the Committee in its deliberations on 20.02.1999 made a specific and positive recommendation that the lands measuring 2 - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:12282 WP No. 4762 of 2025 acres as per the survey sketch be regularized in favour of the petitioner and two others and despite lapse of 26 years, no steps have been taken. 3. Learned AGA submits that, objections were called for and, since no objections were received, steps are being taken to implement the decision of the Committee. He submits that if three months time is granted, steps would be taken to consider the representation of the petitioner. 4. In my view, since the recommendation is made by the Committee to regularize the unauthorized occupation of the petitioner, the Tahsildar will have to take steps to issue a certificate of grant or a Saguvali Chit and, therefore, the Tahsildar is directed to take necessary steps to issue a certificate of grant or Saguvali Chit to the petitioner as per the recommendation of the Committee within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:12282 WP No. 4762 of 2025 5.
