Mr. Ajeet Kumar Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Rajeev Singh Bisht, learned Additional C.S.C. for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Petitioner is a physically disabled person. She possesses D.El.Ed. of National Institute of Open Schooling, which according to her, makes her eligible for appointment as Assistant Teacher, Government Primary School. 4. Petitioner has completed 52 years of age. The upper age limit for appointment as Government Primary School is 42 years for General category candidate; for physically disabled person, the upper age limit is 52 years, which also has been crossed by the petitioner. According to petitioner, she is overage by about three months, therefore, Authorities be directed to grant relaxation in upper age limit to petitioner. 5. Since field is covered by Statutory Rules framed by the State Government and the State Government can consider the request for relaxation in the upper age limit in appropriate cases, therefore, this Court thinks that ends of justice would be met, if petitioner is permitted to approach the Competent Authority in the State Government. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is 2025:UHC:10259 disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to the Competent Authority in the State Government for age relaxation. If she makes representation on or before 24.11.2025, decision thereupon shall be taken within three weeks thereafter. It shall be open to petitioner to make such representation through e-mail.
