Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. T.C. Chutia, learned counsel for the respondents. The petitioner is before this Court with the limited prayer seeking consideration of his representation dated 01.04.2025, wherein he ventilates his grievances in terms of the orders passed by the Coordinate Bench dated 12.12.2022 in WP(C) No. 1747/2022, which was deferred by the judgment and order dated 04.04.2024 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in Writ Appeal No. 7 of 2023. The respondent authorities were directed to serve a copy of the enquiry report on the writ petitioner, which has been duly served. Pursuant thereto, the petitioner submitted his representation dated 01.04.2025 before the concerned authorities. It is submitted that although the representation was filed in April 2025, the respondent authorities have not passed any orders till date. The limited prayer before this Court is that the petitioner’s representation be directed to be disposed of within a time-bound period. Mr. T.C. Chutia, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate, representing all the respondents, does not object to the prayer made. Taking into consideration the submissions advanced before this Court by the learned counsel for the parties and the averments made in the writ petition, this Court is of the view that the authorities, more particularly the Respondent No. 4 - Superintendent of Police cum Disciplinary Authority, Diphu, Karbi Anglong, is hereby directed to expeditiously dispose of the representation dated 01.04.2025 Page No.# 3/3 filed by the petitioner, which is seen to have been received by the said authority on the same date. The representation shall be disposed of within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order. A copy of any order passed by the authorities concerned shall be served on the writ petitioner. It is expected that the order passed by the Superintendent of Police on the said representation shall be a speaking and reasoned order. Writ petition accordingly stands disposed of.
