This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking custody of the corpus-his daughter. 2. Today the concerned police officials have produced the corpus before us. As per the Secondary Examination Certificate, [2025:RJ-JP:21728-DB] (2 of 2) [HC-127/2025] date of birth of the corpus is 26.06.2007, according to which she is a minor girl. 3. We have interacted with the corpus, who firmly states before this Court that she does not want to go and live with her father- petitioner and she is ready to stay in Arti Balika Grah, Alwar till she attains the age of majority. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the age of corpus which is below 18 years, we deem it proper to direct the concerned police officials to admit the corpus in Arti Balika Grah, Alwar, who will remain there till she attains the age of majority as per the Secondary Examination Certificate. Needless to mention here that after attaining the age of majority, the corpus is at liberty to go wherever she wants to go and reside as per her own will. 5. This habeas corpus petition stands disposed of accordingly. The parents of the corpus shall be at liberty to meet the corpus in Arti Balika Grah, Alwar as per the relevant rules. 6. A copy of this order be provided to the learned Government Advocate and a copy be also sent to the Superintendent/Care Taker of Arti Balika Grah, Alwar for necessary compliance.
