SOMASHEKAR, C.J.) 29.08.2025 Learned senior counsel for the appellant, Mr. N. Ibotombi; learned Sr. PCCG for respondent No.1; Mr. W. Darakeshwar; and learned senior counsel for respondent No. 2, Mr. BP Sahu are present before the Court physically. This writ appeal has been filed by the appellant under Rule 3(2) of Chapter IV-A of the High Court of Manipur Rules, 2019, by urging various grounds, against the interim order dated 12.08.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge on the writ side in W.P. (C) No. 529 of 2025. This appeal has been slated for admission, however, with the consent of learned senior counsel for the appellant, Mr. N. Ibotombi and so also learned senior counsel for the Manipur University, Mr. BP Sahu, this appeal is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission. Factual matrix of this appeal are as under. KABORAMBA M SANDEEP SINGH Digitally signed by KABORAMBAM SANDEEP SINGH Date: 2025.08.29 13:10:45 +05'30' Page | 2 On the recommendation of a Selection Committee and in pursuance of approval by Executive Council in its 34th Meeting held on 11th January, 2013, the appellant was appointed as Deputy Registrar in Nagaland University vide Order dated 29.01.2013. Thereafter, in pursuance of the Resolution No. 3/19/21/10/2013 of the Executive Council of the Manipur University, the appellant was appointed as Deputy Registrar in the Manipur University and it is indicated in Para 2.1 and 2.2 of the appeal. However, keeping in view the strenuous contentions taken by the learned senior counsel for the appellant and so also learned senior counsel for the Manipur University, it is deemed appropriate that this writ appeal is required to be disposed of without expressing any opinion on merits of the matter. Therefore, in terms of the aforesaid reasons and findings, the present writ appeal is hereby disposed of with a time limit for disposal of the aforesaid writ petition W.P. (C) No. 529 of 2025 pending before the Single Judge. Accordingly, learned Single Judge on the writ side is requested to expedite the matter in W.P. (C) No. 529 of 2025 by giving opportunity to both sides to urge their contentions and also facilitate documents whichever are required for consideration of the aforesaid writ petition and dispose of the same preferably within a period of six months. Page | 3 It is made clear that whatever observations have been made in this appeal shall not have any influence in the mind of the learned Single Judge in deciding the aforesaid writ petition on merits. Accordingly made an observation. Consequently, this writ appeal is disposed of. Consequent upon disposal of the aforesaid writ appeal, there is no consequence for consideration of the proceeding in MC (W.A.) No. 81 of 2025 seeking some sort of stay. Hence, MC (W.A.)
