Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned State counsel for opposite parties. 2. The present petition has been filed seeking the following main reliefs:- "(I) A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Opp- parties to treat the petitioners in the old pension scheme and sanction the pensionary benefits to the petitioners, in the interest of Justice. (II) A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Opp- parties to take suitable action on the options forms submitted by the petitioners before the Director General Family Welfare for the grant of old pension scheme in pursuance to the Government order dated 28.06.2024, in the interest of justice. (III) A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Opp- parties to sanction all pensionary benefit admissible in the old pension scheme to the petitioners along with arrears thereof, in the interest of justice." 3. Since petitioners have already submitted their options which are pending consideration before opposite party no.2 i.e. Director General, Family Welfare, Lucknow U.P.. The said authority is directed to take a final decision with regard to same expeditiously within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is served upon concerned authority.
