Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. This application has been filed with the following prayer:- "To pass an order directing the learned trial court to decide the Session Case No. 1175/2024 arising out of Crime No. 174/2024, under Sections 376, 504, 506 I.P.C. & 3(2)(5), 3(1)(dha), 3(2)(Va) SC/ST Act, Police Station- Pihani, District- Hardoi pending before Additional District Judge, Court No.2, Hardoi." 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the charge-sheet has already been filed by the Investigating Officer, on which, cognizance has been taken by the Court concerned on 08.10.2024, but the trial is not being proceeded, hence, necessary order may be passed for expedite disposal of the case in question. 4. Learned A.G.A. vehemently opposes the prayer of the applicant and submits that the alleged offense is of the year 2024, and cognizance on the charge-sheet has been taken on 08.10.2024 and several cases are pending prior to the year 2024, hence, no such direction can be issued at this stage. 5. Considering the submissions of learned counsel for the parties and perusing the record, it is evident that the charge-sheet is of the date 27.05.2024, on which, cognizance has been taken by the competent Court on 08.10.2024 and summonses have been issued. In such circumstances, no direction for expediting the trial can be issued. 6. With above observations, this application is disposed of.
