1. By way of filing this writ petition, a challenge has been led to the impugned order dated 15.04.2025 passed by the Board of Revenue (for short, “the Board”) by which the revision petition submitted by the respondent No.1 against the conversion order dated 18.10.2021 has been admitted and an interim order has been passed whereby the parties have been directed to maintain status quo till next date i.e. 20.05.2025.
2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for allotment of retail outlet (petrol pump), the petitioner applied for conversion of the land before the District Collector and the conversion order was passed on 18.10.2021 which was assailed by the respondent
[2025:RJ-JP:19398] (2 of 3) [CW-6868/2025] No.1 before this Court by way of filing D.B. Civil Writ (PIL) No. 8523/2021 wherein no interim order was passed by the Division Bench of this Court and the said PIL is still pending for adjudication. Counsel submits that through a third party (Laxmi Narayan), a revision petition was preferred, challenging the conversion order dated 18.10.2021, before the Board wherein also no interim order was passed.
3. Now the same respondent No.1 has assailed the conversion
order of the petitioner dated 18.10.2021 before the Board by way of filing the Revision Petition No.2031/2025 which has been admitted and an interim order has been passed directing the parties to maintain status quo till 20.05.2025, hence, such an
order is not tenable and is liable to be quashed and set aside by this Court.
4. Heard and considered the submissions made at Bar and perused the material available on record.
5. Considering the arguments put forward by learned counsel for the petitioner and looking to the fact that an interim order has been passed by the Board, upto a particular date i.e. 20.05.2025, the petitioner is granted liberty to file appropriate application before the Board by taking all these grounds which he has taken before this Court and the Board is directed to deal with all those objections raised in the writ petition on the next date i.e. on 20.05.2025 and pass appropriate orders after providing opportunity of hearing to both sides.
6. With the aforesaid observations, the present Writ Petition is
disposed of.
