CORAM :THE CHIEF JUSTICE DHIRAJ SINGH THAKUR SRI JUSTICE RAVI CHEEMALAPATI DATE ; 24th January 2025 PC : I.A.No.2 of 2024 in Writ Appeal No.1086 of 2024 has been filed seeking condonation of 756 days delay whereas I.A.No.2 of 2024 in Writ Appeal No.1087 of 2024 has been filed seeking condonation of 250 days delay in filing the appeals.
Apart from stating that the delay is neither willful nor intentional, no explanation at all has been rendered in the said applications as to why the present appeals were not filed within time. The averments made in the applications, which runs over 47 paragraphs, ironically deals with only the merits of the case and the history of
V - litigation that preceded the filing of the applications without, in the least, touching upon the issue of explaining as to how the delay was occasioned in the filing of the applications for condonation of delay, which was the primary requirement for considering whether the applications ought to be allowed or rejected. In view of the fact that there is no explanation whatsoever rendered in the applications, the same are held to be without any merit and are accordingly dismissed. Consequently, the Writ Appeals also stand dismissed. No costs. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. Sd/-V.DIWAKAR DEPUTY REGISTRAR //TRUE COPY// ON OFFICER To
