This petition under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the accused-petitioner, namely, Nur Hussain and Mamani Khatun, has prayed for grant of bail in connection with Patcharkuchi PS Case No.254/2024 registered under Sections 96 of BNS, 2023. 3. The gist of allegation in this case is taking away of a minor girl and also trafficking her, who is stated to be aged less than 14 years. Subsequently, she was recovered at the instance of one relative of the informant side. 4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the alleged victim girl actually had love affair with the accused No.1 and thereafter, she had gone to Arunachal Pradesh to work in a hotel but the informant side has given a different colour to the matter out of inimical interest. 5. On the other hand, Mr. D. P. Goswami, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, on the basis of the receipt of the case diary submits that though investigation has not yet been completed but the material collected so far lend support the allegation and implicate the present two accused persons in the alleged act of putting the victim in the train of Arunachal Pradesh and threatening to sell her for Rs.50,000/-. In her statement recorded before the JMFC, the alleged victim girl indicating her aged about 14 years have also made such implications. The allegations and the materials about kidnapping or trafficking of a minor girl is undoubtedly a serious matter which requires full investigation. 6.
