Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Saharsh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State and perused the record. Instant writ petition has been filed with the following main relief :- "i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature MANDAMUS thereby commanding the opposite pa no. 2 to decide upon the representation of Petitioner dated 07.01.2025 (annexed herewith Annexure no. 1)" After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation on 07- 01-2025 before the opposite party no. 2/Director, Secondary Education of U.P., Lucknow and the same is pending consideration. He further submits that the interest of justice would be sub-served if this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct the opposite party no. 2 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner within the stipulated period of time, as may be fixed by this court. Learned counsel appearing for the State has no objection to the contentions aforesaid. Be that as it may, without entering into the merits of the case, the opposite party no. 2/Director, Secondary Education of U.P., Lucknow, is directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 07-01-2025 within a period of eight weeks, in accordance with law, from the date a certified copy of this order is Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Priya Singh Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
