By this petition filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Stephen Sangma, has prayed for Page No.# 2/3 granting pre-arrest bail, apprehending arrest in connection with Bakalia P.S. Case No. 13/2025 under Section 303(2)/317(2)/3(5) of the BNS, 2023, read with Section 2 of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957. 3. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that in the meantime investigation is already completed, resulting in a charge-sheet. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that apart from not being in FIR, his name emerged only during seizure of some documents. 5. It is contended that the petitioner is innocent. Nevertheless, in view of completion of investigation. I allow this bail petition. 6. Accordingly, it is directed that in the event of arrest of the petitioner, named above, in connection with Bakalia P.S. Case No. 13/2025. under Section 303(2)/317(2)/3(5) of the BNS, 2023, read with Section 2 of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957, he shall be released on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- with a suitable surety of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. 7. The direction for pre-arrest bail is subject to the conditions that the petitioner: (a) He shall render cooperation with the remaining investigation and appear before the I.O. for recording his statement; and (b) He shall not hamper or tamper with evidence. 8.
