Government Advocate for the State/respondent/s appearing on advance copy. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has paid tax to the Transport Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, RAVI SHANKAR MANDAVI Digitally signed by RAVI SHANKAR MANDAVI Date: 2025.04.21 20:07:11 +0530 2 Registration Authority, Raigarh, DTO, Chhattisgarh, to the tune of Rs.84,287/- for the period 24.08.2021 to lifetime, however, since the vehicle for which the tax has been paid is in depleted condition therefore, the plying of the vehicle was not done, as such, the amount which has been paid by the petitioner is required to be refunded. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that he may be allowed to make a representation to this effect before the concerned authorities and the concerned authorities may be directed to decide the same in a short time. 4. Learned counsel for the State/respondent/s appearing on advance notice submits that subject to due verification and scrutiny of the claim of the petitioner, appropriate steps shall be taken at the earliest within a period of 60 days. 5. Given the statement made by the counsel for the State/respondent/s, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the petitioner to file a detail representation along with the copy of this order within 15 days and inturn, the authorities concerned are directed to consider the same in accordance with law within a period of 60 days. 6.
