A fact has been brought on record that the impugned order is now rendered infructuous since due to subsequent order dated 5.2.2025, Prof Akshoy Ranjan Paul, Department of Applied Mathematics has been appointed as Head Department of Applied Mathematics in Moti Lal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad (Prayagraj) and probably the petitioner may not have any grievance to his appointment. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this writ petition may be disposed of at this stage with a liberty that in case, petitioner is aggrieved by aforesaid order, he may take remedy available in accordance with law, if so advised. Considering the above submissions and subsequent event as well as that now challenge to earlier appointment of one Naresh Kumar on same post being a stop gap arrangement is now rendered infructuous, therefore, present Writ Petition is disposed of with aforesaid liberty.
