Mr. Aditya Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Dharmendra Barthwal, learned counsel for the respondent-UPCL. 3. Petitioner was engaged through UPNL as Second Sub-Divisional Officer in UPCL in 2013. His engagement was discontinued, vide order dated 03.07.2023 passed by Superintendent Engineer, UPCL, Haridwar. Thus, feeling aggrieved, petitioner filed this writ petition. 4. The order dated 03.07.2023 was challenged only on the ground that it castes stigma upon the work and performace of petitioner, therefore, it is bad in law. 5. Mr. Dharmendra Barthwal, learned counsel appearing for UPCL, however, submits that the order impugned in the writ petition was withdrawn and now another order has been issued on 27.10.2025, whereby whatever aspersion has been cast upon the petitioner has been expurged and he has been simply repatriated to UPNL, for employment elsewhere. The Office Memorandum dated 27.10.2025 is taken on record and paginated. 6. Mr. Aditya Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that since now there is no aspersion levelled 2025:UHC:11190 against the petitioner, therefore, the petition can be disposed of by taking the statement of Mr. Dharmendra Barthwal, on record. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of in terms of statement made by learned counsel for the UPCL on record. The disposal of writ petition would be without prejudice to the rights and contentions of petitioner, which he may take in appropriate proceedings.
