Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned AGA for the State. 2. The applicant has approached this Court for getting a direction issued to the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Court no.19, Sultanpur, to decide the criminal proceedings arising out of Criminal Case no.3171 of 2022 (Ram Pratap Jaiswal vs. Gulam Mohammad) filed under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, P.S. Gauriganj, District Amethi. 3. The aforesaid case of the applicant is pending since 17.7.2022. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that under Section 143(3) of the N.I. Act, it is provided that every trial under this Section shall be conducted as expeditiously as possible and an endeavour shall be made to conclude the trial within six months from the date of filing of the complaint.
