1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner, who was working in the post of Principal at Government Higher Secondary School, Kirari, District:Sakti seeking a direction towards the respondents to release the retiral dues of the petitioner as the petitioner retired on 29/02/2024.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner has been retired on 29/02/2024, but till date, the entire retiral dues has not been released to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the respondent/State, on instruction, submits that except gratuity and 10% of the family pension, the other retiral dues has already been released to the petitioner. He further submits that if the petitioner will approach the respondent Nos.3 & 4 within a period of ten days and comply with the formalities in accordance with law, the rest part of the retiral dues i.e. the gratuity as well as the 10% of the family pension will be released to the petitioner within a further period of 30 days.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings and the documents.
5. Looking to the submission made by learned counsel for the State that because of non-cooperation of the petitioner, the amount of gratuity as well as 10% of the family pension are not being released
3 / 3 to the petitioner, hence, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to approach the respondent Nos.3 & 4 within a period of ten days from today and he may comply with all the instructions in accordance with law and comply with the formalities which is required to be done on the part of the petitioner, then the respondents are directed to release the retiral dues within a further period of 30 days from the compliance of necessary formalities by the petitioner.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition is
