This writ petition has been filed with the following prayers :- (i) issue an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus to the opposite party no. 2 to ensure that inspection of the records of the Samiti may be done under Section 66 of the Act as early as possible or within the time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court; (ii) issue an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties no. 2 and 3 to immediately pass appropriate orders under Section 37 of the Act for seizure of records and other books of account from the illegal custody of the opposite party no. 4; It is the case of the petitioner that, despite an application having been made, no order was being passed. Therefore, the petitioner approached this Court in Writ-C No. 11349 of 2023. This Court disposed of the writ petition with a direction to the Registrar to pass an appropriate order on the representation of the petitioner dated 17.12.2021. In compliance of the said order, the Additional Housing Commissioner passed an order on 21.08.2024, finding it appropriate to issue separate orders under Section 66 for inspection of the records of the Committee. Subsequently, an order for inspection of the records of the Committee was also passed under Section 66 of the Act on 29.08.2024. A Committee of three members was constituted. And 3 Others .....Respondent(s) the Committee, no inspection has been carried out and hence this petition has been filed. This petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2 to ensure compliance of his own order dated 29.08.2024 in a time- bound manner.
