Verma, Additional Advocate Generals with Mr. Ravi Chauhan, Deputy Advocate General. ____________________________________________________ Sandeep Sharma, Judge(oral): By way of instant petition, very innocuous prayer has been made by the petitioner to issue direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P-1) filed by the petitioner, whereby she has sought transfer to one of the stations of her choice on account of fact that she is nearing retirement in less than two years. 2. While putting in appearance on behalf of respondents, Mr. B.C.Verma, learned Additional Advocate General, states that he is not averse to aforesaid innocuous prayer made on behalf of the 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 petitioner and representation, if any, filed by the petitioner shall be considered and decided expeditiously. 3. Consequently, in view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, deems it fit to dispose of the present petition, with a direction to respondents to consider and decide the pending representation (Annexure P-1) filed by the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from today. Ordered accordingly. Needless to say, authority concerned, while doing the needful in terms of instant order, shall afford an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner taking note of Transfer Policy formulated by the Government of Himachal Pradesh, which certainly enables an employee, who is nearing retirement, to seek transfer to one of the stations of her choice. p (Sandeep Sharma), Judge June 19, 2025 (Sunil)
