HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW APPLICATION U/S 482 No. - 5752 of 2019 Court No. - 29 HON'BLE MANOJ BAJAJ, J. Applicant has approached this Court through this application under Section 482 Code of Criminal Procedure for issuance of directions to the Special Judge (SC/ST Act), Lucknow to expedite and conclude the proceedings of Sessions Trial No. 263 of 2018, arising out of Case Crime No. 447, 448, 504, 506, 420 I.P.C. and Sections 3(1)G, Da, Dha, Va, and 3(2)V SC/ST Act, Police Station Para, District Lucknow, in a stipulated period. No one has appeared on behalf of applicant. Learned A.G.A. is present. As per the pleadings in the application itself, the accused are yet to associate in the trial proceedings, who are absent, therefore, the prayer for expediting the trial proceedings is apparently misconceived. Otherwise also, in view of the decision by Hon'ble Supreme Court in High Court Bar Association, Allahabad Vs. The State of U.P. (2024 INSC 150), decided on February 29, 2024 such a prayer cannot be entertained. The application is dismissed. (Manoj Bajaj,J.) November 26, 2025 P.S.
